Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Management Economics and Financial Accounting (JOMEFA) must follow the guidelines below. Manuscripts that do not comply with these instructions may be returned or rejected.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English using clear and academic language
  • The work must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system (OJS)
  • The manuscript should follow the JOMEFA template format

2. Manuscript Types

JOMEFA accepts:

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles

3. Manuscript Length

  • Research articles: 4000–8000 words (approximately 8–20 pages)
  • Review articles: maximum 30 pages

4. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript must be arranged in the following order:

Title

  • Clear, concise, and informative
  • Written in English

Author Information

  • Full name of all authors
  • Affiliation and email address
  • Indicate the corresponding author

Abstract

  • Maximum 250 words
  • Must include:
    • Research background
    • Objectives
    • Methods
    • Main results
    • Conclusion

Keywords

  • 5–8 keywords separated by semicolons (;)

1. Introduction

Must include:

  • Research background
  • Previous studies
  • Research gaps
  • Problem formulation
  • Objectives and contributions

2. Literature Review

  • Discuss relevant theories and previous studies
  • Highlight differences and research contributions

3. Methodology

  • Clearly describe research design and methods
  • Include data sources, instruments, and procedures
  • Provide equations, models, or algorithms if necessary

4. Results and Discussion

  • Present findings clearly (tables, figures, graphs)
  • Provide analysis and interpretation
  • Link results to research objectives and prior studies

5. Conclusion

  • Summarize key findings
  • Highlight contributions and implications
  • Provide limitations and suggestions for future research

5. Tables, Figures, and Equations

  • Tables and figures must be cited in the text
  • Figure captions are placed below figures
  • Table titles are placed above tables
  • Use clear numbering (e.g., Fig. 1, Table 1)
  • Equations must be numbered and referenced in the text

6. References

  • Must follow IEEE citation style
  • Use at least 20 references, primarily from journals or conference proceedings
  • Include DOI for all available references
  • Reference management tools (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) are recommended

7. Additional Sections (if applicable)

Authors should include:

  • Author Contributions
  • Funding Statement
  • Data Availability Statement
  • Acknowledgments
  • Conflict of Interest

8. Submission Process

  • Submit manuscripts via the journal website (OJS)
  • Ensure all required metadata is completed
  • Upload manuscript file according to template

9. Revision Process

  • Authors must revise manuscripts based on reviewer comments
  • Provide a point-by-point response to reviewers
  • Highlight all revisions in the manuscript

10. Final Notes

  • Manuscripts that do not follow the template may be returned without review
  • The editorial team reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity and style
