Analisis Efektivitas Penggunaan Website SI-KP terhadap Peserta Kerja Praktik Batch III PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Kota Palembang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the SI-KP (Sistem Informasi Kerja Praktik) website for Batch III internship participants at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The SI-KP website functions as an integrated digital platform that supports the administration of internship and research activities, including registration, mandatory briefing, daily attendance, and weekly activity reporting. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method to explore users’ experiences and perceptions regarding the ease of access, information clarity, system performance, interface design, and technical support of the SI-KP website. Data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving internship participants from both factory and non-factory divisions. The results indicate that the SI-KP website has generally been effective in supporting internship activities by improving administrative efficiency and transparency. However, several obstacles remain, including slow page loading times, login difficulties, limited attendance areas, and insufficiently detailed information. Despite these challenges, users perceive the interface as user-friendly and the technical support as adequate. This study concludes that continuous system development, particularly in improving accessibility, information quality, and system responsiveness, is necessary to enhance overall effectiveness and user satisfaction.
