Sistem Informasi Data Inventaris Barang Berbasis Web pada Kamar D.01

Abstract

Managing inventory is a crucial task for ensuring the availability and control of assets in a room or organization. In Room D.01, inventory data collection is still done manually through notes in books or simple spreadsheets, which often causes various problems. These problems include errors in recording data, data loss, difficulty finding item information, and slow preparation of inventory reports. These obstacles make inventory data management less effective and efficient. This research focuses on the design and development of a web-based Inventory Data Information System for Room D.01. This system is expected to facilitate the computerized inventory data management process. The research approach used is the Waterfall method, which includes the steps of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and literature review. This system was created using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, and is designed to be web-based to facilitate users in accessing and managing inventory data. The main features of this system include managing item data, item categories, item conditions, data searches, and generating inventory reports. The research findings show that the information system successfully improved the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory management in Room D.01. Furthermore, the system reduced recording errors, accelerated data retrieval, and facilitated the creation of more accurate and organized inventory reports.
