Evaluasi Penerapan Sistem Informasi Penjualan VMedis Menggunakan Metode PIECES dalam Mendukung Efektivitas Operasional
(Studi Kasus: Apotek Tuwel Sehat)

Tuwel Sehat Pharmacy has implemented the cloud-based VMedis sales information system across its entire branch network; however, its implementation has not run optimally due to a socio-technical phenomenon in which transactions are still recorded manually before being entered into the system, causing delays in digital stock data updates. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the VMedis system in supporting the operational effectiveness of Tuwel Sehat Pharmacy using the PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). The study employed a descriptive-evaluative approach with mixed methods and a case study design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 17 respondents (total sampling) who are active system users across all branches. Quantitative data were tested for validity using Pearson Product Moment correlation and for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha, then analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and triangulated with the quantitative findings. The results show that overall user satisfaction falls into the Good category with an average of 76.07%, with the highest score on the Information dimension (80.65%) and the lowest on the Service dimension (72.27%); no dimension reached the Very Good category. Data triangulation revealed a gap between the quantitative scores and actual field conditions, particularly in the Information dimension, which scored highly yet still exhibited data synchronization issues. The root causes underlying the Information, Efficiency, and Control dimensions converge on a single factor: the persistence of manual double-entry recording, indicating socio-technical adaptation barriers rather than technology rejection. The study recommends strengthening a real-time data-entry Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), optimizing barcode-scanning features, and reassessing the partnership with the system vendor.
