The rapid development of digital technology makes it important for young learners to become familiar with the basic concepts of artificial intelligence (AI). Many elementary school students use AI-enabled applications in their daily lives, such as voice assistants and content recommendation systems, without necessarily understanding how these technologies work. This community service activity introduced basic AI concepts to 28 Grade VI students at State Elementary School 26, Bengkulu City, on 27 August 2026, through interactive lectures, educational games, question-and-answer sessions, and simple demonstrations. Descriptive observations of student participation during the activities indicated enthusiasm and engagement with examples of AI, its benefits, and its risks. No formal evaluation instrument, pre-test/post-test scores, or numerical outcome measurements were available; therefore, the extent of learning improvement cannot be quantified. The activity provides an initial model for introducing age-appropriate AI literacy in elementary schools.
