Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pemesanan Wisma Berbasis Web pada PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages companies to improve administrative service efficiency through digital systems. PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, especially in the Facilities and General Department, still faces obstacles in the hostel reservation process which is carried out manually, causing data recording to be less effective and potentially causing administrative errors. This study aims to design a web-based hostel reservation information system that can assist the reservation and data management process in a structured manner. The research method used is a descriptive method with observation and interview approaches during the internship activities. The system development process was carried out using the Laravel framework with system design including requirements analysis, interface design, and implementation of login, reservation, and administrative dashboard features. The results showed that the designed information system was able to help the hostel reservation management process become more effective, organized, and easily accessible for users and administrators. In addition, the system also supports faster administrative processes and minimizes the risk of reservation data loss. With this system, the management process of hostel facilities at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is expected to run more optimally and efficiently.
